Mikyala “Miki” Clayton is a certified Human Resources professional with over 14 years of experience across the public and private sectors, specializing providing impactful talent an strategy solutions to small, mid and large sized social impact and nonprofit organizations.  Clayton has a proven track record of building diverse, collaborative and inclusive work environments that allow both the organization and its employees to thrive.  In 2017, she was featured in the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) Magazine’s “Top 30 Under 30 HR Professionals.”

Throughout her experience, Clayton has implemented and managed core human resources/people management functions including: talent acquisition, compliance, benefits, on-boarding, performance management and employee relations. As the Director of Human Resources at the Fund for Global Human Rights, Clayton oversees the human resources function of a worldwide operation.

Clayton holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A) from Howard University and a Master of Science in Administration (M.S.A) in Organizational Development from Trinity Washington University as well as specialized human resources and talent management professional certifications.

She is passionate about empowering others through career and vision development.  She hopes that her personal legacy will be one that created opportunities for those who have been historically under-served and underrepresented.
